Special Shipping Timeline for Eclipse Products:

Any order of in-stock items placed prior to March 26 (11:00am PT) will arrive at your U.S. destination before the Eclipse on April 8th. Solar Glasses (set of 10) can be ordered up through April 2 (11:00am PT) and will arrive by April 5 at your U.S. destination. If you are traveling outside of the U.S., please anticipate a longer lead time to accommodate for your own travel schedule.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico Orders

All orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico must be placed by phone or email to Customer Service: 1-415-337-1100 or email: service@astrosociety.org

Additional shipping charges will apply. If you accidentally place your order online, we will contact you at the email address or phone number associated with your order. Orders can be placed by mail using our printed order form.


ASP Membership Discount

All active Individual ASP members receive a 10% discount on their product orders.* All online memberships must create a MyASP account and your online orders will include your discount at check out. Please include your membership number on all orders by fax or mail. If you do not know your membership number, please email membership@astrosociety.org.

* Select items may not be included in the members discount benefit and will be announced on the product pages.

Any non-ASP member who joins to take advantage of the 10% discount must purchase a membership first, checkout and pay for this membership before shopping for product, then log in to shop and receive your discount.

Inquiries and Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a prompt refund, minus shipping costs. Occasionally, we may ship the wrong item to you or you may find an item to be defective. With your shipped order you will be receiving a Return Form on the backside of your packing slip. Please use this for any returns. You can also download a pdf version or a text version of the Customer Returns Form.

If you have any questions about your order or products that were sent to you send email to service@astrosociety.org or call us at 1-415-337-1100. Please include your order or invoice number so that we may expedite your inquiry.

Note: There are no returns on special orders.


International Orders

All countries outside of the United States please contact Customer Service for a quote.** All international orders must be paid by MasterCard, VISA, cashier’s check or international money order. We accept wire transfers if you wish to expedite your order and must charge a $30 bank processing fee on top of the order and shipping costs. Shipments will be sent via US Airmail. Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Some items cannot be shipped outside the U.S.** Please contact our Customer Service team if you have any questions. We encourage contacting us by email for more immediate correspondence with our Customer Service team.

Shipments may be subject to duties and taxes and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Ordering Options

Order Online: Order online through our AstroShop using your MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card. You will receive an email confirmation with the items, total price, and quantities ordered.

Large or Special Orders: please contact Customer Service.


Previews

We are unable to offer preview copies to school districts. All items are clearly and honestly described in the AstroShop and we urge you to read the descriptions carefully and pay close attention to product descriptions and recommended age levels. If an item is found to be inappropriate for your classroom needs, we will honor our unconditional guarantee of a full refund less shipping costs.


Promotional Emails

If you are an ASP Member, or purchase product from the ASP’s AstroShop, your email is automatically added to our AstroShop email list to receive special offers, sales, and new product announcements. If you wish to be removed from this list, you may unsubscribe or manage your email preferences via the links at the bottom of every email communication.

Shipping and Tax

We make every effort to ship your order out within 24 hours of receipt for items in stock. All of our orders ship via USPS and UPS as we have found these to be the safest and most reliable method for our company. However, it is necessary for us to use U.S. mail for Post Office box numbers, APO/FPO destinations and some non-mainland orders. If you would like to choose a different method of shipment you can contact our Customer Service team and they will offer you an alternative quote.


Shipping Services

Any order of in-stock items placed prior to March 26 (11:00am PT) will arrive at your US destination before the Eclipse on April 8th. Solar Glasses (set of 10) can be ordered up through April 2 (11:00am PT) and will arrive by April 5 at your US destination. 


Orders are shipped UPS ground or USPS and require a street address. Delivery of in-stock items normally takes 7-10 business days. Your order may be shipped in multiple boxes and arrive separately. Posters are always shipped separately in a durable cardboard tube.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO Addresses

Shipments to these destinations will be sent via U.S. mail for an additional $5.00 per order on top of regular U.S. shipping prices. Allow one extra week for delivery.

Rush Delivery

We offer 3-day rush service only for the continental U.S. on in-stock items. Orders must be placed by 11am PT, M-Th. Rush Order charges please see our chart below. Rush order delivery may not be available for all items and cannot be guaranteed on back ordered or dropshipped items.

Please note: posters must ship separately via USPS in a cardboard tube. The shipping cost for posters is already built into the cost of the product. If your order contains items in addition to a poster, regular shipping prices will apply. If you are only ordering posters, the poster shipping charge is already included in the cost of your product(s) and you will not be charged an additional shipping cost.
